You never know who may be watching the actions you take. Most people don’t know they are leaders or in a role where leadership needs to be. Whether you are alone or others are around, be mindful of your decisions and the long and short term outcomes. Be the example you want to see. Think about what you do and how you do it. Sometimes you may think that honesty is not an option, please remember that it is always “the” option. When you are honest and forthright the results are better than if you practice dishonesty. When dishonesty is practiced, the results may seem great in the beginning, but in the end, they are always disastrous.
Everyone has had an example at some point in their life, whether it was positive or negative. Have the foresight to realize what you do has the opportunity to have great impact on your hindsight. Remember, be the example you want to see. Be a strong leader and take the high road in all that you do.
